Youth Programs

The Community is committed to supporting and nurturing the spiritual journey of those of all ages, and the youth programs are an important element of the Community’s mission.

The youth programs for those in their teens, twenties, and early thirties are led by their own members who are exploring their spiritual development in friendship and community. They participate in the arts, volunteering, and in leading segments of the weekly gatherings. They arrange their own social activities as well as participating in those of the Community at large. Nurturing the creativity and spiritual development of our youth is inspirational to the entire Community. We are acutely aware that the future of the Community, and indeed of this planet, rests in the hands of our younger generations.

Younger children of all ages who attend Community with adults stay together as a family at the main gathering. The gatherings offer opportunities for even the youngest to enjoy and participate.

The formation of a separate Children’s Youth Program is a goal of the Community. This will provide an opportunity to nurture and support the spiritual growth and development of our children.
